Summer Mission Trip 2008

Newark, NY

June 29 - July 4

This Summer 20 Youth and 5 Adults will embark on a journey of faith and service to Newark, NY.  There they will join with 100 other participants to serve the community however needed. In Mark 10:43-45 it is written "But it is not so among you; but whoever wishes to become great among you must be your servant, and whoever wishes to be first among you must be slave of all.  For the Son of Man came not to be served but to serve, and to give his life a ransom for many."  These youth and adults are laying aside their own personal desires and wants to serve others in need.  They are taking one step closer to becoming a servant to all people.  We ask you to pray for these youth and adults in the coming months as they prepare themselves for what lies ahead.
