New Church Roof During 2002 our church received the new roof that has been needed for many years. Thanks to all who contributed to the fund drive that made this essential project possible. These are some pictures of the work in progress
Front Doors When our beautiful stone sanctuary was built in the 1870s all the doors were made to swing to the inside, as was the practice at that time. This past year the township safety inspectors made us aware that our doors needed to swing to the outside in order to provide the best safety to our members and guests as they gather in the sanctuary for worship and other activities. The following are pictures taken while converting the doors to swing out.
New Porch When we converted the doors to swing to the outside created a need for a new porch, steps and railings in order to provide a safe entry and exit to the sanctuary. We are currently reviewing bids for the construction. The following are the architects pictorial views of the new porch and steps. |
