Family Promise News
I'm
Preparing this during FPC's hosting of Family Promise week. So far the air
mattresses seem to be working out fine and it was great not to have to receive
and carry beds, right men? So thank you again to those who purchased an air
mattresses.
NURSING HOME VISIT -
We had a great visit to The Manor in March. Thank you to the faithful people who support this mission and are always willing to save just one hour once a month to bring a little sunshine into the residents’ lives. Many people really thanked us when we told them we’d be praying for them in church the next day. Isn’t that what it’s about: a reminder that Christ cares, through us. Next visit: Applewood April 19th. 2:30 pm Contact Brian Kovacs at 732- 308-1545
OPEN DOOR Reminder - and thanks to those who always give!
Please bring one or more cans of food any Sunday, but especially the First Sunday of each month (Communion Sunday), for the hungry of Freehold. Bins are at the back of the Sanctuary & in the Christian Education Bldg. near the kitchen. The Last Sunday of the month is when we collect change in the Mission Pots for Open Door in gratitude to God for His blessings. Watch for the kids wearing Mission Supporter tags: they’ll ask for your change & give you a reminder card. Thank you to Derek and Dorothy Munnery for delivering our donations to Open Door!
