"For I was hungry and you gave me food, I was thirsty and you gave me drink, I was a stranger and you welcomed me, I was naked and you clothed me, I was sick and you visited me and I was in prison and you came to me, ….

Truly I say to you, as you did it to one of the least of these my brethren, you did it to me."

Matthew 25:35-40

It is our mission to raise awareness and provide opportunities for mission work and service through our congregation to those less fortunate in health, in welfare, and in faith. Our congregation gives generously of our time, talent and monetary support to many local and world-wide missions. We are actively involved with other churches in the area responding to the concerns of homelessness, hunger and other needs through the following:

Open Door, a local food bank for area residents

Sanctuary Program  A local mission that prepares and serves breakfast and lunch for day laborers and working poor from various locations.

Annual Crop Walk - Provides funds Locally, Nationally, Globally to alleviate the problem of hunger.
